Hootsuite has a ton of social media data. They track all customer data to provide customers with that data, but this huge dataset presents an interesting opportunity for Hootsuite. Amidst global concerns of privacy and security on social networks, and scandals like Cambridge Analytica, our brief was to find a way to use this data without exposing any of our customers.
the solution
By aggregating all of this customer data, we were able to create custom benchmarks for social performance by industry and category. The tool is simple: connect your Facebook account, and we’ll show you how your content stacks up against the rest. The tool then suggests Hootsuite products that would be best suited for you, based on your results.
